Reaching the Top

Reach the top with SEO

I was working on a Facebook post today, and noticed this beautiful picture of a mountain. I was then inspired to write this blog today. Here are my thoughts on how online advertising, and SEO is literally just like climbing a mountain! It takes stamina, patience, and determination to reach the top. In my day, I have seen a lot of business owners lose patience during the critical stages of website design, and SEO link building, and quitting before they get to the top. Once they quit and turn around to find another way to the top, they head back down the mountain. What happens during this time, is they have to start climbing the mountain from the bottom all over again. This wastes even more time in performance and online exposure. There is no shortcut when it comes to organic SEO and ranking positions for SERP results. The first 90 days is going to be a challenge. It is important to find other advertising outlets while things are building online. Another misconception about the internet is that everything happens really fast! Sorry that is not true. Well think about how much info is getting dumped out online daily or hourly even, Think about the amount of spam ads and junk you see daily! Yes, bots crawl the internet every second. This is unavoidable, and it is a good thing. Be glad it’s automated! The internet including Google is actually slow to index (read) anything new. Yes, there are steps we can do to speed it up like paid ads, but the bots are first before the people, which means your customers. Even paid ads have a slight waiting period as well. But organic is a slow climb to the top. Taking the right steps and preparation will lead to successful journey to the top. That is communication with me or your web provider. Making sure you have one strong digital footprint and investing in that is key to reaching the top. Keep your branding the same, only have one website and do your best to enhance its performance and you will get there one step at a time. However, there is no time like the present!
